I purchased my LCD TV 2 1/2 years ago in hopes it would last 5-10 years, it didn't and with my squaretrade warranty in place they quickly reply to my claim and sent me a check for the full amount of the TV. i wish i had my LCD but am glad they covered the expense and really hope i don't need to use them again but i'm happy to have them in case.
I currently have 6 warranties on all kinds of items and some of high value... i feel extremely comfortable having them and only use SquareTrade for my warranties.
